lamp

the weekend before last i found so many goodies when we were thrifting. this lamp happened to be one of them. there's something about the shape of this lamp combined with the color and wood accent that i just couldn't say no to. plus, at $8 it was too good to pass up!

this is the shade that came with it. in my opinion, it's a little large and overwhelming for the base. plus it covers the lovely wood which i'm so fond of. i like the drum shape, so i'm going to try to find something similar, just a lot shorter so that the wood will be visible. when i find something i'll be sure to post a new photo with the updated look.
