ceramic and wood handle pitcher

i made a total haul this past saturday when we went thrifting. the lovely hubby pointed out this amazing ceramic with (real) wood handle pitcher. i think at one time it had a lid because of the lip inside the top opening. it came with about 10 teacups (which i featured earlier this week as a photo of the day). i really wasn't all that interested in the cups since i don't drink tea, and they're really too small for anything else, but i had to have the pitcher so the cups came along.  


it's really the most gorgeous shade of blue. (which isn't as apparent against the orange background)


i really am so in love with the shape of this piece. now i just have to find the perfect place for it to reside!
