yes, it is a card catalog. and it's more of an aqua rather than robin's egg, but fun nonetheless.
i don't really use it as any sort of storage. i have a small addiction with drawers of any kind. we have one small wall in our house in which i've stacked them all together. they display a couple of my plants and a few misc. items. i'll have to take a photo of the whole thing sometime.
