i was going to wait to "unveil" our christmas tree until we found a new tree topper (our old one is such a piece of crap, it NEVER stays on straight and drives us nuts the whole holiday season), but that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon, so i figure i better get the photos up before it's new years! seriously, what is it with tree toppers? maybe it's just where we live, but i really don't want a L.E.D. lit tree topper that changes from blue, to green, and then to pink. call me crazy. so i'll continue my search and hopefully fine something not so redneck very soon.

I totally agree with the tree topper thing! ;) I am having a hard time with a skirt... NOTHING fits around our big tree stand! Guess I'll have to make one one of these years...

Dazzling! I love it! Our tree topper is the same way ... I love it, but it never goes on quite right. I have yet to put it on this year's tree!
FINALLY! Our tree topper went on this year the right way. I know what you mean about not wanting one that's cheesy. I have been in love with mine since I got it at restoration hardware years ago, but could never get it on quite right. Off the tree it's more like a dangerous weapon, so I'm glad it's now away from the kids and being put to good use.
Love your tree. It's just how I like mine. Lots of white lights and dripping with ornaments!
